Roosevelt County has been advised the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will begin pavement resurfacing work on N. Main Street from the Railroad tracks to Spruce Street/NM 236 on Tuesday, Oct. 20 starting at 8 a.m. Once the work on North Main is completed, NMDOT will move to North Fir Street to resurface the roadway from North Main Street approximately two blocks to North Avenue I. This work should be completed before the end of the month, weather permitting. We ask all residents to drive slow and watch out for heavy equipment and personnel. Residents are also encouraged to seek alternative routes during the work on these roadways.
