“Please take care of yourselves, your families and loved ones. Take the necessary precautions and you can help slow the spread,” stated Commissioner Matthew Hunton. “We are nearing a true dilemma as hospital beds are filling up quickly and regional healthcare facilities are also nearing max capacity. Be safe!”

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The safety and security of our employees and the public is our upmost concern. It is going to take all of us working together to mitigate the spread and protect our limited local healthcare resources. We need all our children back in school physically, all businesses open, and the stress on our healthcare system relieved and all our first responders protected. Roosevelt County is following the State PHO and relying on the New Mexico Department of Health, Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization for the latest COVID-19 data.
